The importance of being a global citizen is the driving force for our linguists at Bolder Academy. As Wolfgang Von Goethe quoted, “He who knows no foreign languages, knows nothing of his own.”
This teaching cycle consolidates our linguists’ knowledge and skills learnt previously with the key focus on pronunciation and spelling using a drill text. The progress students have made is excellent and they have been very brave and strong throughout.
We have read the very famous, “La Chenille qui fait des trous” – “The Very Hungry Caterpillar” with much joy. Students were able to adapt the original text to recreate their own versions, showing off their amazing French writing skills.
A planned trip to the French Institute in South Kensington in July for students will enrich their knowledge of the French culture. The trip will include a language workshop on the French animation “Une Vie de Chat” – “A Cat in Paris”. Students will be totally immersed in the language from the very beginning until they settle down for their lunch in the on-site French Café.
Merci et au revoir!
