Open Days and Evenings

Thank you to all prospective families who joined us at our Open Evenings and Days. It was wonderful to meet so many of you.

We will be holding further events in the summer term.

Our Admissions

 

Bolder Academy Governors and staff are delighted to welcome new families as well as those who have already joined the Academy. We follow the London Borough of Hounslow admission procedures. Parents and carers of students who wish to apply for a place at the Academy can contact:

Secondary Admission, Education Department, Civic Centre, Lampton Road, Hounslow, TW3 4DN.

Bolder Academy is a co-educational, non-denominational secondary school.  In 2019 we will be taking 180 students.

Parents/carers should complete their home Local Authority Common Application Form and should list Bolder Academy as one of their preferences on that form.

Admissions Policy 2019-2020

In accordance with the School Admissions (Admission Arrangements and Co-ordination of Admission Arrangements) (England) Regulations 2012, admission authorities are required to consult on any proposed changes to their admission arrangements for a minimum of six weeks.

Bolder Academy proposes to remove the ‘exceptional medical and social need’ criterion from our oversubscription criteria for 2021 -2022. The proposed oversubscription criteria for 2021-2022 will be:

Looked after children and children who were previously looked after but immediately after being looked after became subject to adoption, a child arrangements order, or special guardianship order.

  1. Siblings of children who already attend Bolder Academy.
  2. Children or parents who work (permanently as a member of support or teaching staff) at the Academy.
  3. Other children.

The consultation will run from 21st October 2019 to the 9th December 2020.
